  • "DOLLY" A special story "PURVA"
Prakash and Seema were very excited. Today, August 3, 1999, a little angel came to earth. Purva Prasima Sahoo was born at Mercy Health Center with the help of doctor S. Priddle.
Dolly arrived at 2:47 a.m. She weighted 7pounds 15 ounces and was 20 inches long from head to toe.
Frineds and relatives heard the announcement of the newest angel. Nancy, Pappu, Pinki, Vicky, and Kuni Pappu saw that she was the sweetest angel on the earth. Prakash and Seema were happy to have an infant daughter that was so special. Today was one of the most joyful days of their life together. They were very proud of their newborn daughter. They realized that Purva was a priceless treasure.
Mommy and Daddy had prepared a special place at their home in Manhattan, Kansas for the newest angel. Waiting for Dolly were soft, cuddly toys and bright, colorful playthings that made many strange sounds. Dolly saw many new faces in her life. She smiled and waved her hands when she met Nancy, Grandma and other frineds for the first time.
Babies have a special way of telling everything when their tummies are empty. Mommy's soothing voice and gentle care at feeding time made Dolly feel loved and cared for. Dolly splashed and kicked when Mommy and Daddy gave her a bath. The soapy bubbles and warm water felt nice on her skin. Dolly knew she was special when she was wrapped in a warm, dry towel.
Daddy was happy to help take care of Dolly. His voice was different from Mommy's and Dolly smiled when he held her and talked to her. They played on the floor together and Daddy read silly stories.
