  • May 1996- Till now, with Rehabworks Inc. Kansas (USA)
    Supervisor and sr. Occupational Therapist
    Over three years of Management experience. Currently working in various skilled nursing homes, Hospital and Home health care setting.
    Duties included: Responsible for daily operation, supervision, program development, and direct patient care. Confer and coordinate with other health care professionals to evaluate patient's progress and adjust treatment as needed. Conducting staff meetings, scheduling PPS categories, assisting in orienting new staff, assisting in performance evaluations and treatments as needed. Plan and administer medically prescribed occupational treatment program to adult, geriatric and pediatric patients with various conditions such as Parkinson, Orthopedic, Neurological conditions, Cerebral palsy, Alzheimer's and various psychiatry disorders. Good knowledge in Splinting and positioning.

  • November 1994 to April 1996, with PRP Services Inc.(USA)
    Travelling Occupational Therapist
    Worked full time as a travelling therapist in various nursing homes, hospitals in different states. The job involved treating various patients with physical and cognitive deficits in geriatric setup. Implemented least restrictive restrain for patients with risk of falls, participating in bed and wheelchair positioning and splinting programs.

  • October 1993 to October 1994, with Prorehab-Communicare (USA)
    Staff Occupational Therapist
    Worked full time as an occupational therapist in various nursing homes and sub-acute rehab setup. The job included ADL training, positioning, splinting, restrain reduction, NDT application, use of physical modalities, cognitive training, assistive equipment training and giving input in care plan meeting.

  • May 1993 to September 1993, with Akshay Pratishthan, New Delhi (India)
    Director of Occupational Therapist
    Worked as a full time occupational therapist and the job involved treating various pediatric cases specially post polio syndrome. Worked with team of orthopedic surgeon, social worker, team coordinator, physical therapist and psychologist. Making different static splints, leg brace, providing others supportive devices and giving inservice to community were some of the main responsibilities. Also treated various adult patients with orthopedic and neurological problems on an out patient basis.

  • January 1993 to April 1993, Private Practice under the supervision of referred physician. (India)
    Occupational Therapist
    The job involved treating various pediatric and adult neurological and orthopedic conditions, such as cerebral palsy, autism, Multiple sclerosis, stroke, upper and lower fracture cases. Environmental modification and work simplification were the main responsibilities during home visits.
